Auto-Trail 2018 Launch Weekend

20th September 2017

Our Auto-Trail 2018 Launch weekend, which took place from 15th - 17th September, not only gave Club Members the chance to see the all-new 2018 range of Auto-Trail models first in one location, but also gave them the chance to enjoy two nights of complimentary food and entertainment.

Friday night, following a Pie and Pea supper, saw a performance from Jigabit Ceilidh Band with their energetic traditional ceilidh music, complete with accordion, fiddle, guitar and a caller to explain the dances. This was thoroughly enjoyed by all those who took part with other club members enjoying listening to the music and watching those who were taking part.
Saturday night surpassed all our expectations with wonderful performances from two top quality performers – Rory Bremner and West End Encore.
Jane from West End Encore treated club members to beautifully sung background music throughout our dinner service. Rory and Dominic, also from West End Encore then took to the stage with a comedy and musical interlude with Dominic pretending to be a departing chef and Rory as the Maître De, along with Jane the comedy led to fantastic music from the trio and very impressively, they also managed to get a large number of our audience taking part in the Conga.

Rory Bremner, impressionist and political satire, was hilarious with his impressions of Donald Trump and various other political figures. The most impressive part was the fact he tailormade his act to our audience including motorhome manufacturer information throughout his time on stage. Rory was happy to mingle with our crowd following his performance to talk to our Club Members.

After a short break, West End Encore returned to the stage and with their sensational voices. Our audience were blown away hearing their songs from Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables, among others, but it didn’t stop there as they also sung more mainstream songs from Queen and Grease to ensure everyone was on their feet and dancing the night away.
