Our Strictly Motorhoming Club Member event took place from Friday 31st March – Sunday 2nd April. This event proved extremely popular, with only of those lucky enough to book within the first 10 minutes of our event line going live being able to book on.

Our late summer weekend, which took place from 16th – 18th September. treated our Club Members to two nights of entertainment with performances from The UK Bee Gees, Bjorn Illusion, Comedian Steve Terry and West End Encore.

We extend our condolences as the nation mourns the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Following the announcement that the Queen's State Funeral will be held on Monday 19th September, our site will be closed in its entirety on this date to allow our staff to pay their respects to an extraordinary lady who served our country with compassion, humility and respect throughout her 70 year reign.

We now have a gazebo outside our cafe to allow customers with dogs dine undercover during wet weather. We also have a large patio area for dining when the weather is being kinder.

Our Summer Spectacular event took place from 10th - 12th June where our lucky club members were treated to performances by comedian Jim Davidson, The Rat Pack Show and Deja Vu.
Following a last minute change of act, due to Ultimate Elton being unable to perform, we managed to secure a booking for Rat Pack - Swingin' At The Sands. Tribute singers to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr wowed us on Friday night with favourites such as Mr Bojangles, Fly Me To The Moon, That's Amore, New York New York ending with My Way and put on a great act throughout.
Saturday night, following a Ploughman's dinner, the hilarious Jim Davidson took to the stage to the delight of our audience. He really was brilliant, never has an hour gone past so quickly. Then multi tribute party band Deja Vu performed two sets getting our club members onto the dance floor. Andy Jackson brought the night to a close with his disco.
Feedback from the weekend has been great and the best news was that we also managed to raise £1,897 for Macmillan Cancer Support, our charity of the year. Money was raised via our raffle prize draw, sale of second hand motorhome items, cake stall, book stall and tombola. We are grateful to the local businesses and manufacturers who donated prizes for our raffle to help raise such as fantastic amount.

The weekend of 8th - 10th April saw Strictly return to the Brownhills showroom once more, this time with a new member of the professional dance team - Jowita and her partner Michael.
Club Members who had booked for our Strictly Motorhoming weekend event started to arrive on site and at the overflow camping site - Smeaton's Lakes - from Thursday 7th April. With the event starting on Friday, complimentary minibuses were booked to transport customers between our main site, Smeaton's Lakes campsite and Newark town centre. From Newark Town Centre, people were able to cross the bridge over the River Trent to visit Nottingham or the historic and lovely city of Lincoln.
