Our Spring Spectacular weekend took place over the weekend of 12th to 14th April where our lucky members were treated to two nights of food and entertainment.
Our Club Members enjoyed some thigh slapping and beer drinking with the German Oompah band, Bierkeller Schunklers. It was a fun packed evening with many of our Club members dressing up for the occasion. Brownhills staff served our members with the usual Friday evening pie, mushy peas and gravy.
On Saturday evening after a bowl of Italian meatballs with pasta followed by cake, our members were entertained by comedian Scott Bennett who selected some of the audience as part of his evening of laughter. We don't believe Scott offended anyone. Totally Tina took to the stage after Scott who gave us her rendition of Tina Turner. Totally Tina took advantage of the pop-up tent situated at the side of the stage for her numerous costume changes , which we believe was in excess of 20.
Andy Jackson, our renowned compere and DJ finally managed to squeeze a few tracks in on both evenings albeit with the acts performing encores, there was less time than normal. I'm sure next time, Andy will be able to entertain you with more of his selected tracks.
