The weekend of 8th - 10th April saw Brownhills' Strictly Motorhoming 2016 event. From the moment the event line opened on 15th February 2016 we knew this was an extremely popular event and understandably with Kevin from Grimsby and his wife Karen from BBC's Strictly Come Dancing due to perform on the Saturday night.
Friday night, following a Pie and Pea supper, saw a performance from The Jersey's - a tribute act to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The quartet are clearly a class act and gave their all during the two sets of live music, just when we thought they were drawing to a close, they came back stronger than ever with Il Divo's version of The Power of Love...a truly beautiful rendition.
A wide selection of stalls were positioned in the showroom on Saturday for event and day customers to peruse, there were also stands outside such as Powered by Bicycles with their range of Electric bikes and Blue Diamond with a selection of Awnings.
Saturday night, following stew and cheesecake and a pre-entertainment game of bingo, saw Karen and Kevin Clifton take to the dancefloor. Before showing us their amazing routines they took time to teach, all those who wanted to take part, the Salsa steps. After a short break, where our raffle prize draw took place, Kevin and Karen returned to the floor with 5 spectacular showcase dances. Whilst all dances were stunning, the Pasa Doble was simply breath-taking and the feeling in the room was electric. Not only are Kevin and Karen amazing dancers, they also showed their brilliant personalities in the way they interacted with the audience between dances. We're very proud to have hosted Kevin and Karen and thank them for giving us a first class performance which will be remembered for many years to come.
