Our Strictly Motorhoming weekend took place over the weekend of 7th to 9th June where those who managed to reserve a space, were treated to two nights of food and amazing entertainment.
On Friday evening, after a quick game of bingo, THR33 took to the stage doing their renditions of Take That, Boyzone and Westlife. It didn't take the boys long to get our members onto the dance floor! The feedback we have received regarding THR33 has been phenomenal and wouldn't think twice about inviting them back in the future.
As normal for a Friday evening of an event, Brownhills staff served our members with the usual pie, mushy peas and gravy.
In the hopes that we had glorious sunshine on Saturday, we thought it would be nice to serve a Summer salad followed by ice-cream. Whilst the weather did stay fair, it wasn’t the sunshine we had hoped for.
Andy Jackson entertained our customers with a couple of games of "higher or lower" before we welcomed Strictly Come Dancing stars, Giovanni Pernice and Lauren Oakley to the dance floor.
Giovanni and Lauren commenced with a workshop where our customers were able to participate in learning how to do the cha cha cha. I think we all agree, this was a joy to watch and to learn the steps from two of the best dancers to perform at Brownhills.
During costume changes, Giovanni and Lauren did a Q&A session.
Giovanni and Lauren then took to the floor to offer us a superb showcase which we were all enthralled with. They are truly amazing dancers. One customer did comment that the emotions the couple shared during their showcase, brought a tear to her eye!
A photograph session then took place at the end of the showcase where we hope everyone who wanted to, managed to get photographed with this amazing couple.
Andy Jackson, our renowned compere and DJ, continued with keeping our members on the dance floor dancing the night away.
From the feedback we have received on social media and feedback forms, we at Brownhills believe we offered our customers, one of the best events ever and cannot thank you enough for taking the time to offer such kind words.
The staff at Brownhills work incredibly hard to accommodate our customers over these event weekends and we all thoroughly enjoy them too.
