After much research over a few weeks, we finally decided on what our next van would be. Brownhills are not far from where we live so we called in and there was the exact van we were looking for in their used display. The van was nearly new and had everything we wanted including a tow bar for our bike trailer. Fantastic customer service

I took my motorhome back for a warranty damp repair and the whole experience was fantastic. The issue was identified and submitted to the manufacturer for approval. The actual work was carried out very quickly including resealing the side skirt all round the vehicle . I did not expect this and it was a great surprise. We purchased a second hand Motorhome from Brownhills, Liam our salesperson was exceptionally helpful. No pressure sales and always on the end of the phone when we had a query. Unfortunately we had a few issues with it. Nothing that could have been anticipated by Brownhills so not their fault. The customer service we received was absolutely amazing. Alex and Steve in the Post Handover Department responded to our concerns promptly offering considerable support. Hannah in the Service Department took time out to listen to our concerns, managing our expectations and giving us the option to look at alternative solutions. Emma continued with the fantastic customer service when Hannah went on holiday. Calling to keep us updated and not only taking ownership of our issues but ordering parts and booking the work in as and when needed. A big thank you to Rosie too who reached out to us offering her support as Hannah was going on holiday. All the ladies we met on the service desk are an absolute credit to Brownhills (sorry we didn’t get everyone’s name but it was a pleasure to get to know you all) Last but not least thank you to both Mark and Alister who worked on our heating and gear box respectively. Both exceptionally experienced technicians who took time to explain the problems with clarity, giving us total confidence in the work undertaken. We can say without any reservation that we will never buy a motorhome from anyone else other than Brownhills from now on. I like that before I came to have my hand over the inspection team notified me of 5 defects which will be put right under warranty as other places I’ve been to I’ve left it to see if I spotted anything I like the fact we are given free food vouchers for the caffe and 20 days stay over throughout the year. Politeness of the reception team and the sales executive who dealt with my sale made us feel special and important.

We have visited Brownhills a number of times, with a view to purchasing a motorhome. Each time we have been, there was no pressure, a staff member would ask if we need any assistance but there was never any pressure. After much deliberation and visiting other dealers, we took the plunge, after seeing what would be our ideal Motorhome. We went to reception, who advised us a representative would be along straight away. No waiting, as Jonathan Caudwell was along moments after we asked. There was no pressure at anytime in the process, to purchase, or get any extras put in. All the prices were as advertised, no hidden extras. Brownhills kept us informed with the preparation process, and the date for pick up. We opted for the overnight stay so any problems could be sorted the next day. On the day of the handover, we were met by Jonathan, he would see us at the start and finish of the process. Also making him a point of contact should we need advice later. Jonathan handed us over to Clive, who gave us a thorough and comprehensive talk through of everything the motorhome had and did as well as providing us with various user tips, fielding any questions we had. So a big thank you to both Clive and Jonathan for dealing with us. The following morning, a representative came to see us to ask if we needed any more help, instruction or if we had found any faults. A problem did occur as we drove back home, but a quick phone call to Brownhills and the problem was sorted, it was down to new user error, not a problem with the motorhome. Great staff, unpressurised sales, very helpful. Thank you

From our first meeting with Jonathan Caudwell in the showroom to driving away our new motorhome, the entire process was a pleasure. Jonathan was wonderful to deal with, a perfect mix of attentiveness and professionalism without being pushy. The whole team were very accommodating with the trade in process of our old vehicle. Prior to the purchase date, the preparation team were in contact to point out a defect they had spotted and for which they had already raised a warranty claim with Swift. Being really eager, we arrived an hour early for the handover, but this didn’t faze the team, we were given food and drink from the cafe while everything was made ready for us. Terry was extremely detailed in his handover of the vehicle, was respectful when he realised that we were familiar with some aspects due to having had a caravan, but went onto explain the intricacies of the Fiat/Swift Carerra specifics. His knowledge of the particular make/model he was showing us is all the more remarkable considering the vast range of Motorhomes available on the Brownhills site. A very minor cosmetic issue with a wheel trim was noticed the day after we purchased, but this was rectified immediately with apologies, the missing part being ordered, received and then posted out to our home address within a matter of days We have been away in our motorhome 3 times now in the 4 weeks that we have had it. I have waited this long to write a review to see if any other issues developed, and if so, how Brownhills would deal with them, but thankfully there have been none, the only issue being the wheel trim which was dealt with immediately, and in no way affected the working of or our enjoyment of the vehicle. Every member of the team have been a pleasure to deal with

From the time I made the first phone call, Brownhills have been brilliant. Jonathan was our sales guy, he wasn't at all pushy, gave us good advice on options for consideration and left us alone to make those decisions. Nothing was too much trouble and we were well looked after. When we went to collect, Clive did our handover. He was very thorough and informative and put up with various interruptions from our side, all with a smile. We got a goodie bag with essential supplies for first night, tea, coffee, wine etc, along with some roses as it was Valentines day, a lovely touch. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brownhills, they're club facilities are very useful for if you're travelling from a distance to collect and it's very dog friendly, apart from the cafe area but you can get takeaway 🙂

Excellent follow-up support

Had need to contact Brownhills regarding a leak in our water system on Swift Select 144. Was called back by Shaun in service department. We had bought the van 3 years ago and have been very happy but noticed it was leaking the other day when we were servicing the water system. Shaun called me this morning and talked us through where the source of the problem might be located and we pinpointed it down to the toilet cassette pipework. He was so helpful and kind and patient. If you have employee of the month awards or something, please could he be nominated. Definitely impressed with the service received.

A genuinely outstanding company

We found the buying experience at Brownhills to be excellent. From the start when we spent a day there looking at dozens of different motor homes, to the end when we finally made the decision which one to purchase, Mike Warrington was endlessly patient, helpful and knowledgeable. We were not pressured into making a too hasty decision. Everything was explained thoroughly and all communication has been outstanding. This new van is our 5th and no previous dealer has ever followed up once we drove away. We feel confident that we can contact them at any time if we have questions or issues. The whole team, from reception upwards, that were involved were outstanding. Although we live 4 hours away we won’t hesitate to return for servicing, not least because of the ‘Club’ - what a brilliant innovation!

A positive experience

We were back for a two-day service on the third motorhome we have bought from Brownhills. As always, we enjoyed the facilities available for Overnight Stays, and couldn't have had a warmer welcome in the café for breakfast. Emma on the Services desk was really helpful, made sure everything ran smoothly and made us smile. The work was completed efficiently and we were given a full report. We have to travel a distance to have our Motorhome serviced by Brownhills, but the experience is made as positive as possible by the cheery and professional staff.

We had to wait about 14 months for our Adria Matrix Supreme 670SL after buying it due to production levels and then had many warranty issues in the year that followed. We had excellent initial sales service from Bo Wojak and he continues to be supportive and friendly whenever we are at Brownhills. However the service supervisor Emma Foad has been our shining star and given us exemplary service from the very first interaction with her. She has been so calming and understanding throughout the whole frustrating wait for missing parts coming from Adria, and then a faulty engine light issue due to a poor under bonnet design from Fiat, which deters us from using the Motorhome for about 7 months! Emma has had to deal with a lot of very unhappy and at times irate conversations with us and continued to reassure us that the problems would be fixed. Well we have just returned from a 2 day workshop stay at Brownhills and along with Fraser and Andy in the workshop, who were also both so calm and took time to come and run through all the work they had done in the habitation checks and under bonnet work; we can happily say we drove 3 hours back to Kent with confidence that all our issues had been resolved. Thank you once again Emma for everything you organised and got done. This has certainly allowed us to now plan to use the Motorhome more in the future with restored confidence. We understand that things go wrong etc and from chats with other Brownhills customers we know we are not alone, but it is frustrating when you have to keep returning to Brownhills and cannot always get an accurate resolution to problems. This last 2 day stay we actually hired a car locally so we could get off site but know that many customers (us included in the past) are sometimes stuck on site or can walk 20 mins to Newark. How about a shuttle bus that runs to Newark every couple of hours? This would reduce the amount of customers sitting about all discussing their experiences whether good or bad and getting frustrated at the wait for work to be done. So after a shaky and frustrating start….we can hopefully now look forward to years of happy motorhoming travels.

Winter Holiday

In Spain on our winter 3 month trip. 1st time out in our Adria but we found a leak on the push connect in the shower. We not long left a Motorhome dealers where we stayed do a quick call to them & they looked us in. We contacted & dealt with Alison Smith so was lovely so understanding and very helpful. We kept Alison updated all the way through the repair. Sent copy of receipt for work completed along with translation copy to English. Alison could mot do enough for us. So far our experience with Brownhills has been excellent and 2nd to non to all we have spoken & dealt with. Thank you Alison you wonderful lady for being so helpful. What a pleasure it has been

What a pleasure it has been, buying my campervan from Brownhills. The salesman (Jonathan) provided the best service possible, explaining what options were available to me due to me having a part exchange vehicle. He sorted all the paperwork with smoothness and explained how the transaction would be handled and one can feel his experience. At the time of handover, I was presented to the Handover Team and Leigh, who went above and beyond.
