We now feel a bit lighter without the debt over us and can move on next year to find a used caravan and have cash to pay for it.

Picked my second Motorhome up from Brownhills on 16th Sept, excellent service from start to finish. Special thanks to Lea Hardy for his support and understanding over the past 6/12. I was meant to take delivery of one back in April, but my trade in van was hit by a truck end of March, which took 6 months for insurance to write off? Bought out first Motorhome from John at Brownhills and the experience has been first class from start to finish. From first walking in to casually enquire about Motorhomes nothing has been too much trouble and the service from John and Brownhills has been fantastic. Picked it up on Saturday and having completed the paperwork with John had a complete run through with Rick from the handover team who was also first class!! Ricks knowledge was second to none and he ran through all the items and controls taking as much time as was required. It’s the start of our journey but what a start, highly recommend John (Rick) and Brownhills for anyone looking to start fresh with motorhome!!!!!

This was our second purchase from Brownhills. We had our previous van for 6.5 wonderful years using Brownhills for warranty issues, the hab checks, servicing and repairs and have always received great customer service from them. We had no hesitation in going back to them for our new purchase. From start to finish the whole company made our experience feel relaxed, happy and appreciated as a customer. A particular shout out to Jonathan (Sales), Rick (handover team) whose knowledge and experience is second to none and to Joe H (workshop team) who sorted all the normal minor snags we had to a very professional standard. We would also like to give a shoutout to all the ladies in the cafe for keeping us fed and watered while we waited. Finding a company that makes to feel valued as a customer is becoming increasingly rare, we would have no hesitation in recommending Brownhills.

Brilliant Customer Service

We bought a brand new Rapido motorhome from Brownhill’s in June this year. It was a risk because we live in Edinburgh and it’s a fair distance down to Newark, however a friend who’s also a Brownhill’s customer spoke very highly of them. I’m glad we made that decision. We had a few teething problems with the van (mostly electrical faults) and It required a couple of visits back to Newark to get everything sorted. It was frustrating to say the least but throughout the process Brownhill’s has been outstanding. I cannot commend the customer service highly enough - every single member of the team has been amazing. Special thanks (in no particular order) to Emma and Ellie on the Service Desk, and to technicians Jaimie, Shaun, Stewart and Eliot. Thanks also to managers Alison, Sarah and Mark. Sometimes things go wrong, but the mark of a great business is how they deal with those problems when they happen. Just been looking at motorhomes. They have a great selection to choose from, with some very good end of season deals. There are also free vending machines with a good selection of drinks to choose from, while you consider whether you're going to buy or not.

Visited Brownhills Service Department yesterday because of a faulty fridge. Excellent service by Stuart the Technician who spent a lot of time diagnosing and sorting it out for us. Thanks Stuart! Exceptional service by the Service Team, especially Emma who very kindly placed our food in their fridge freezer whilst work was being carried out. Thanks Emma! Just bought a motorhome from Brownhills of newark, these people are very professional and knowledgeable. Jonathan in sales from the start easy to talk to explained everything not pushy. All the way through from placing order they have kept us informed even the general manager. On the day of hand over we was introduced to Rick he did a very detailed hand over nothing was to much trouble, he needs a pat on the back. And Jonathan top sales guy, helpful and fun to deal with. We only arranged with Jonathan Cauldwell, one of the sales team at Brownhills to trade in our 30 month old Auto Trail F60 motorhome for a new Eldiss cv40, some two weeks ago. Jonathan had sold the F60 to us in November 2023 and it has been a good purchase. Having tried a compact Motorhome, we decided that we wanted to return to a campervan (panel van conversion) and the Eldiss CV40 met the bill for us. The complication for us is that on Saturday 13 June we go to France for three weeks and so we needed to find, agree a deal and trade in our F60 in around 3 weeks. Jonathan Cauldwell sold us the F60 originally and when a local dealer in East Anglia was unable to match our requirements we phoned Jonathan from our home in Suffolk. Within two hours of calling him, we had done a deal, as he had found us a van conversion that did exactly what we wanted and we had agreed a trade in, purchase price and delivery that worked in our tight tight frame. Jonathan AND Brownhills came up with the right van and the right deal. Yesterday we travelled to Newark and traded in our F60, signed the final paperwork and were then shown around the cv40 by Terry in the prep & handover team. Terry is such a gent, calm, a nice gentle manner and very patient and definitely knows his stuff. He showed us around our new van, explained how everything worked and the principle differences between thia Fiat Ducato based Eldiss CV 40 and our F60 as well as our earlier Peugeot based AutoCruise van conversion. He took the right amount of time with us and at no time did we feel rushed. He also took away a couple of snagging matters including a fault within the glass top of the cooker/hob unit and these were quickly rectified. Thank you Terry. I should say that Terry also handed over our F60 in November 23 and we have similar positive memories from dealing with him at that time and it was refreshing & comforting to have him hand over our second Brownhills supplied vehicle. Thank you Terry. Finally, Steve from the technical staff checked in on us this morning after we had slept onsite at Brownhills and used their very convenient facilities Steve, who again we also dealt with back in 2023 was able to explain properly to us how the key fob and vehicle alarm works, discuss our ceramic coating with us and how we knew it had been completed. He explained that our ceramic coating customer card is now located in the kit bag which contains all of the ceramic coating care products and that we will now receive out Certificate and Guarantee by email. Another query successfully dealt with. We also raised a few other manufacturing faults with Steve, all of which have either been fixed this morning by the Brownhills wider team or will be fixed as a warranty item when we next pass through Newark or at our first service. In conclusion, Jonathan, Terry and Steve on behalf of Brownhills provided excellent customer service and support to my wife and myself and we are now delighted we called them again, having decided to buy our next campervan. Our ferry booking is in place for Saturday and we are very much looking forward to returning to France for the first time since pre-Covid, and doing so in our new Eldiss cv40 campervan which is one of the Browjnills special edition Evolution models in metallic black with the ceramic coating as an extra. Looking very smart and shiny!! Thank you Brownhills for working hard to make thia happen for us and thank you to Jonathan Cauldwell, Terry and Steve for their friendly and competent service. And as always a BIG thank you to Emma and the other reception team members who are the entry point to Brownhills and their staff, and helped us enormously on both of our visits and when trying to contact people. They always go above and behind to get hold of the relevant individual and either get them to call back as promised or phone themselves to keep us updated. Great staff, great attitude and always good stock and choice of vans. Well worth the two hour drive from Suffolk to deal with people that can make things happen. From first visit to look at Motorhomes right up until collection of our chosen model Brownhills staff were first rate. Every query and request for accessories was met with helpful responses and all extras were fitted in time to meet the delivery date apart from one item that needed fitting by outside agents. Handover was also conducted professionally and efficiently and the whole buying and part exchange experience was completely painless.
